With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert A. Whritenour Sr. (Winterville, North Carolina), born in Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on July 22, 2018 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Harry, Margaret and Dottie. He is survived by: his friends, Nancy Gibbons and Martin Gibbons. He is also survived by his three sons and their wives, Bobby, Kevin and David; many grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two stepdaughters.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc. in Lumberton, N.C. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Lumberton, N.C. The burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton, N.C.
