It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Frances Bryan Cannon (Winterville, North Carolina), who passed away on May 19, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmie Lang and Juanita Mills Bryan; her husband Clinton "Bud" Andrew Cannon; her sister Marjorie Sutton; her brothers-in-law, Bobby Sutton and Curtis Elks; her great grandchild Elizabeth Danielle Cannon; and her son-in-law William "Willie" Alphin.
She is survived by: her children, Andrew B. Cannon and Karla C. Alphin (Ayden); her grandchildren, Amber Nicole Alphin, William Bailey Alphin, Phillip Cannon (Nora), Daniel Scott Cannon and Russell Cannon of Camden; and her siblings, Ann Elks of Grifton, Patricia Hawkins (Herbert) of Grifton, James "Bud" Bryan (Pat) of Ayden and William Bryan of Ayden. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
