It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Ray McLawhorn Sr. of Winterville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 6, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jamie McLawhorn and Idelle McLawhorn; his wife Janet Waters McLawhorn; his daughter Sheila M. Martin; his daughter-in-law Lisa Taylor McLawhorn; and his stepson Thomas Garris.
He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth R. McLawhorn, Jr. and Robert McLawhorn of Greenville; his grandchildren, Misty M. Skinner, Brad Cannon, Tasha McLawhorn, Sharon Okonek, April McLawhorn, Kenny McLawhorn and Christian McLawhorn; his stepgrandchildren, Trey Garris, Tommy Garris and Nathan Skinner; and his sisters, Faye Barefoot, Laverne Adams, Frances Cole and Lorraine Mason (Donald). He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
