It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Marvin Boyd Jr. (Winterville, North Carolina), who passed away on December 24, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Marvin Boyd, Sr. and Estelle Boyd Thorpe; and his stepfather Thomas L. Thorpe. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Gaskins Boyd of Black Jack, NC; his children, Jay Boyd (Ashley) of Blounts Creek, Jenna Boyd Stahl (Jason Cashwell) of Black Jack and Alex Boyd (Morgan) of Black Jack; his grandchildren, Georgia, Norma Jeane Boyd and Smith Boyd; his sister Gaynor Boyd White (Spencer); his uncle Linwood Hooks; and his pets, Ellie Mae and Bo.
