With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy McRoy (Winterville, North Carolina), who passed away on August 22, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George McRoy and Icy Belle McRoy; and his brothers, Claudelle, Leslie Jay and Johnny McRoy.
He is survived by: his wife Dot McRoy; his daughter Jenny Heath (Clinton Kish); his grandsons, Thomas Heath of Winterville and Jeremy Heath of Winterville; his sisters, Ernestine Peaden of Belvoir, Evelyn Parker of Greenville, Irene Lee of Greenville and Barbara Strickland of Greenville; and his sister-in-law Teresa McRoy of Washington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
