She was predeceased by: her father Klaus Kaempken; and her stepfather Talmadge Jones. She is survived by: her spouse Jeff Smith; her children, Erica Smith, Rachel Gaskins (Timothy) and Ryan Smith; her grandchildren, Levi Gaskins of Winterville, Kenley Gaskins of Winterville and Kent Peaks of Winterville; and her mother Astrid Jones of Richlands.
