She was predeceased by: her husband Rufus George Smith of Angier, NC; her sister Retha Bridgers Stegall; and her parents, Clifford C. Bridgers and Beatrice Baker Bridgers. She is survived by: her children, Gayle Smith Day (Tony), Diane Smith Ingle (Don), Dr. Tim Smith (Betty Sue) and Beverly Smith Brady (Mike); her grandchildren, Heather Day Jackson (Bruce), Amy Ingle Davis (Edwin), Kevin Day (Pamela), Andrea Smith Oakley (Jamie), Matthew Brady of Denver, CO, Drew Ingle (Hannah) and Rachel Smith Skiadas (Adam); and her brother Clifford Charles Bridgers of Philadelphia, PA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
