She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Allen Lewis, Sr. and Lula Mae Gurkin Lewis; her husband Eldon Jerome Hollowell, Sr.; and her brothers, Clyde, Osborne, Johnnie and Allen Lewis.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Allen Hollowell, Richard Hollowell and Ethan Hollowell; her great grandchildren, Gray Alston, Seth Meade, Grant Meade and Tyler Morris; and her children, Gloria Ambrose (Linwood) of Chocowinity, Eldon "Jerome" Hollowell, Jr. (Vera) of Bath, Harry Allen Hollowell, Sr. of Winterville and Joseph Paul Hollowell (Alison) of Greenville.
Due to the current pandemic, a private graveside funeral service for family will be held at Oakdale Cemetery in Washington.
