She is survived by: her children, James Arthur Williams of Lincoln, NB, Melvin "Bird" Williams of Greensboro, NC, Vernestine Williams of Winterville, NC, Willie Pearl Williams and Betty Streeter; and her sister Mable Cousar of Winterville, NC. She is also survived by grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
