We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2023, at the age of 87, Douglas Allan Jackson of Winterville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilbun "Rick" Jackson and Irene Nobles Jackson; his daughter Terry Jackson Gatlin; his brother Jesse "Van" Jackson; his wife Martha Cartwright Jackson; his sons, Rick Jackson (Pam) of Winterville and Douglas "Dalvin" Jackson (Elke) of Ayden; his son-in-law Asa Gatlin, IV; his grandchildren, Bridget Callahan, Kristen Nichols, Phillip Jackson, Ashley Jackson, Audrey Jackson and Trent Jackson; his sisters, Corinne Culbreth of Fayetteville and Rickie Worthington of Winterville; and his sister-in-law Betty Jean Jackson. He was also cherished by three great-grandchildren.
