It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Everett Hooks (Winterville, North Carolina), who passed away on June 19, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Hooks and Mary Lou Jordan Hooks; and his sisters, Darcie Elaine Hooks and Daisie Eileen Hooks. He is survived by: his brother Ernest A. Hooks; his niece Melanie Owens (Michael); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hailey, Shannon Woodell (Mark) and Mason; his uncle Linwood Hooks; and also Mackensie.
