He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles David Cobb, Sr. and Jane Tobias Cobb; his brother Kinchen Benton Cobb; his spouse Gayle Overman Cobb; his children, Ashley Kinchen Cobb (Paula McRae Cobb) of Greensboro and Renee Cobb Moore (Anthony Glenn Moore) of Rocky Mount; his granddaughters, Sarah Elizabeth Cobb of Greensboro and Hannah Grace Cobb of Greensboro; and his brothers, Thomas Jefferson Cobb of Winterville and Tobias Wiley Cobb of Farmville.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to either Jarvis Memorial UMC or the Winterville Fire Department.
