We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Celia Ann Brinkley Lewis Stroud of Winterville, North Carolina, born in Hertford, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ledie Alphus and Lou Overton Brinkley; her son Douglas Edward Lewis; and her siblings, Lois, Vivian, Virginia, Betty, Mutt, George and Sam.

She is survived by: her daughters, Rose Marie Skinner of Greenville, NC and Sandra Lewis; her daughter-in-law Cindy Lewis of Ahoskie, NC; her granddaughters, Shanna Leigh Lewis of Dothan, AL, Rose Ann Carr (Chris) of Rolesville, NC and Mandy Kaye Fay (Nick) of Youngsville, NC; her great grandchildren, Collin Douglas Peace, Brandon Carr, Rowan Fay, Brick Peace, Kaitlyn Peace and Hannah Carr; her sister Shirley Umphlett of Eure, NC; her grandchildren, Beth Brock, Tanner Brown, Ann, Karen Mizelle and Blake; and also Ida Burnette. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grand babies, including children.

Due to COVID-19 and children not being vaccinated, face coverings will be required inside the building.
