Carolyn Tyner Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2021, Carolyn Tyner of Winterville, North Carolina, born in Farmville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Vandiford, Sr. and Alice Brann Vandiford; and her siblings, Harry Taylor and Sally Ann Vandiford. She is survived by: her husband Tim Tyner; her children, Allen Tyner (Danielle), Dawn Forbes, Kristy Tripp, Renee Miller, Derrick Forbes (Brandy) and Katheryn Faulkner (Josh); her grandchildren, Brittany Taylor, Caitlyn, Colton Tripp, Caleb Shockey, Hannah, Daniel Tyner, Emma Miller, Cheyenne, Holden Forbes, Alanna Quinn and Landon Faulkner; and her siblings, Faye Rouse, Betsy Angel, Lawrence Vandiford, Jr. and Ricky Vandiford. She is also survived by best friend, a beloved sister, a cherished "Nannie" to her grandkids.

Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. The family requests those in attendance please use masks and social distancing.
