She was predeceased by: her parents, George William Carter and Tessie Chase Carter; her husband Vernon Clark; and her son Wilbur Richard Sasser Jr.. She is survived by: her pets, Lady and Lincoln; her daughter-in-law Beverly Sasser; and her stepson Jeff Clark (Sue). She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
