It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zella Ruth Norris of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on December 8, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cecil Edgar Houck and Muncie Dare Conner Houck; her sons, James L. Norris (Rose) and Jerry Norris (Joanne); her grandchildren, Pamela Drake (Phil), Jason Norris, John Tennant and Katie Pattinson (Chris); her great grandchildren, Brittany Nicole, Alexis Elizabeth (Clinton), Mileena Marie (Micah), Marisa Ann (Mel), Samantha Evelyn, Trinity Noel, Devon Christopher, Aubrey Rose, Katelyn Mae and Justin Wayne; and her siblings, Sue Patella, Gay Bennet, Jessie Violet Ragan, James Harold Houck and Thomas D. Houck.
