It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvetta Thomas of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on February 23, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Steve Abraham Monk and Lois Reid Monk; her husband Robert Gene Thomas; her daughter Heidi Thomas Simpson (Adam) of Norwood, NC; her grandchildren, Vance Simpson, Silas Simpson, Haisley Simpson, Lyla Simpson, Sam Frazier, Cassie Thomas and Devon Thomas; her stepchildren, Melissa Thomas Frazier (Charles) of Winston-Salem and Robert Bryan Thomas of High Point; and her brother Colby Monk (Susan) of Rural Hall.
