He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy May and Leona May; his siblings, John H. May, Sr., Theresa McCall and Alma May; and his father-in-law Wendell Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Adrian Jones May; his children, Kynjuan May and Michelle May; his granddaughter Brooklyn Harrison; his siblings, Ruby Williams (Tommy), Leroy May, Jr. (Olivia), James May (Veronica), Beatrice Garrison (Wilton), Pauline Simmons, Howard May (Coellen), Terry May, Ricky May (Tammy), Beverly May, Cynthia Hairston (Thomas) and Mary Williamson of Winston-Salem, NC; his parents-in-law, Deboria May, Andrea Leach and Mae Francis Jones; his brothers-in-law, Mark Jones (Kimberly), Bryan Jones (Vicky) and George Jones (Lorraine); and his close friends, Donald Eldridge and Alford Crump. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
