He is survived by: his wife Maxine Hicks Long; his adoptive daughter Chanelle Hicks of Winston-Salem, NC; his stepchildren, Larry Hicks (Gabby) of Hampton, VA, Daisy Hicks of Charlotte, NC and Theophelous Hicks of Winston-Salem, NC; his great grandchild A'nayjah Bullard Winston; his niece Alice Long of Winston-Salem, NC; his siblings-in-law, Evelynn Lee of Norfolk, VA and Alford Cloud (Fayee) of Harrisburg, PA; and his close friends, Billy Phillips of Winston-Salem, NC. and Anne Shyber of Winston-Salem, NC.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, grandkids, friends.
