We bid farewell to William Lindsay Everhart of Winston Salem, North Carolina, born in Davidson, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 31, 2024 at the age of 89. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Garel Everhart and Jennie Lee Disher Everhart; his wife Peggy Ann Motsinger (Peg); and his siblings, Vann Everhart and Thelma Weisner.
He is survived by: his children, Sandy Payne (Ricky) of Winston-Salem, Lisa Smith (Jason) of Winston-Salem and Mark Everhart of Winston-Salem; his sisters, Annetta Everhart and Shirlene Ladd of Winston-Salem; and his sister-in-law Pat Everhart (Sue). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Faith Church (1078 Gumtree Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27107). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
