With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Howard Jeffers Jr. (Winston Salem, North Carolina), who passed away on January 16, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Douthat Jeffers and William Howard Jeffers Sr.; and his daughter Stacey Jeffers Tritt. He is survived by: his wife Paulette Gray Jeffers; his daughter Stephanie Jeffers Belew (Rich); his stepson Marty Speaks (Erica); his grandchildren, Jacqui Tritt (Adam), Justin Sparks (Cheyenne), Roland Belew and Madeline Belew; his great grandchild Aylah Campbell-Tritt; his brothers, Charles Jeffers (Janet) and Ronald "Ron" Jeffers (Katy); and his brother-in-law Tommy Gray (Cathy).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Tabor United Methodist Church, 3543 Robinhood Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27106 or to ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
