William Frederick McGuirt Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Frederick McGuirt Sr. (Winston Salem, North Carolina), born in Monroe, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Thomas and Ina Williams McGuirt; his former wife Catherine "Kitty" Scarborough McGuirt; his grandson Collin Alexander McGuirt; and his brothers, Tom Douglas McGuirt and James Lee McGuirt.
He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, William Frederick McGuirt Jr. (Robin), Patricia McGuirt Faircloth (Scott) and Wyman Thomas McGuirt (Courtney); and his stepchildren, Currin White (Will) and Scott Evans (Kristen). He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (300 N Cherry St, Winston-Salem, NC 27101).
