He was predeceased by: his parents, Constance Lowery Bowman and William Bowman, Sr.; his grandparents, James, Luetta Bowman, Ralph and Thelma Mae Lowery; his sister Latanya Yvette Bowman; his cousin Darryl Belton; his aunts and uncles, Jacqueline Belton, Debra Lowery, Pauline Bowman-Williams, Eugene Belton, Sr., Ralph Lowery and Aaron Bowman (Rex); and his nephew Handsome Daquan Bark Bowman VIII.
He is survived by: his friends, Reginald Torrence, Chad Simmons, Mike Peoples, Terrance Mitchell (Boo) and Walter Hairston, Jr.; his son William Monroe Bowman III; his sister Dalnice Bowman; his niece Emerald P. Bowman; his great-niece Harmony Bowman; and his cousins, Tracy Glover (Devon), Carter Glover, Serena Belton, Eugene Belton III (Geno), Nichelle Belton, Brent Belton, Chloe Belton, Cory Belton (Kandi), Jania Mackey, Jamia Mackey, Shauntaye Mackey, Joemell Bass, Patricia Robinson, Shanita Robinson, Jordyn James, Jayden James, Clifton Graves (Bubba), Cathy Graves, Donna Graves and Eddie Graves. He is also survived by other cousins, relatives, and lifelong friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Middle Fork Christian Church (2216 E 1st St, Winston-Salem, NC 27101).
