Wayne Hubert Sexton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne Hubert Sexton of Winston Salem, North Carolina, born in Madison, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2024 at the age of 95. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sexton and Hannah Sexton; his sister Connie Brinkley; his former wife Verna Mae Gosnel; and his son Roger Wayne Sexton (Debbie).
He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda Gail Allen (John) and Carole Sue Smith (Eddie); his wife Hazel Duer; and his children, William Desmond Clark (Debra), Patricia Karen Lester (late William), Linda Sue Rephann (Paul) and Melissa Ann Lester (Bryan). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
