We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2023, at the age of 85, Wanda Gayle Pennell (Winston Salem, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gilbright Myers and Susie Katheline Myers; and her siblings, Robert Thurston Myers, Joseph Wade Myers, James Edward Myers, Mildred Irene Myers White and Donald Eugene Myers.

She is survived by: her husband Bobby Lee Pennell; her children, Kathryn Elaine Pennell Stewart (Rick), Kenneth Lee Pennell and Kevin Lyle Pennell (Mandy); her grandchildren, Christopher Ryan Stewart, Joshua Lee Pennell, Hunter Ann Pennell, Dillon Coy Pennell, Alyssa Woodruff, Kassidy Lauren Pennell and Donnie Lewis Stewart Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Leigh Pennell, Lyla Berlynn Pennell, River Alexander Curry, Jayden Lee Deal and Coy Layne Pennell.

Wanda honorably wished to donate her body to medical science in hopes of helping others living with the debilitating disease of IPF.
