Wheeler and Estelle Woody Wheeler; her children, Rhonda Denise Brannon Scales, Anita Jo Brannon Phillips, Allison Vonetta Brannon and Joseph Brannon, Jr.; her siblings, Oliver L. Wheeler, Sr. of Winston-Salem, Montana Wheeler Davis of Winston-Salem and Robert "Sonny" E. Wheeler; her grandson Corey Scales of Albuquerque; her family, Jade Phillips Joyner (Daniel) of Raleigh, N. C., Shelby Phillips of Charlotte, N. C., Dataja Brannon and Asia Brannon of Winston-Salem; and her great grandchildren, Aiko, Ellis, Namiko and Loren. She was also cherished by her three siblings.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Russell Funeral Home (822 Carl Russell Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel (822 Carl Russell Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27101).
