She was predeceased by: her parent Posey Wilson Bridges; her husband Clyde Bruce Charles; her siblings, George Henry Bridges and Edna Phelps; and her brother-in-law Carl Charles (Norma).
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Largen (Freddie) of Winston-Salem and Terri Maxcy (Les) of Winston-Salem; her grandchildren, Abby Gardner (Danny) of Waxhaw and Kasey Odom (Mike) of Winston-Salem; her great grandchildren, Hailey Gardner, Peyton Gardner, Mason Gardner, Max Odom, Tate Charles Odom and Remi Ann Odom; her brother Charles Blackwell, Jr.; her sister-in-law Irene Bridges; her nieces, Nancy Hartman, Shirley Phelps and Carol Taylor; and her great-niece Stacey Scott.
In lieu of flowers, we ask for you to do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for someone in her honor. Memorials may be made to Pine Chapel Moravian Church, if desired.
