She is survived by: her daughters, Arona Corinna Ashby of Kannapolis, NC and Jennie Ashby Hawkins of Winston Salem, NC; her son-in-law Selwyne Browne (Marta Browne) of Wesley Chapel, FL; and her grandsons, Dedrick Hawkins and Joshua Hawkins of Charlotte. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, adopted daughters, and sons.
