She was predeceased by: her father Emory Clyde; her husband Jack Parnell, Sr.; her brother Louie Larimore; and her grandson Jack Parnell III. She is survived by: her children, Jack Parnell, Jr. (Michelle) of Winston Salem and Kathy Boykin (Charles) of Tallahassee, FL.; her grandchildren, Chad Boykin (Jessica), David Boykin (Shelby) and Angela Borst (Justin); her brother Douglas "Gene" Laramore; and her stepgranddaughters, Sarah Krokan, Ashton Cross (Matt) and Brittney Davis. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.
