She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewain Schlotfeldt and Alvina Schlotfeldt; her sister Sharleen Hayes; and her daughter Sherri Giordano. She is survived by: her daughters, Angela Dorton of Winston-Salem, NC and Dawn Liva of Winston-Salem, NC; her brother Richard Schlotfeldt (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Skylar Dorton, Madison Dorton, Brock Loynab and Morgan Umphenour; her great grandchild Lilliana Buckley; her pet Stella; and her caregiver Isabelle Bowman.
