She is survived by: her sons, Theodore "Pookie" Ackers and Jamon "JB" Brown; her daughter-in-law Adrianne Ackers; her grandchildren, Jamik'a Brown, Justin Ackers, Ja'Mora Brown (Tamia), Jamon Brown, Jr., Jalen Ackers, Ja'Mari Mosses-Brown and Ja'Vonnie Brown; and her siblings, Patricia "Pat" Southerland-Stubbs, Deborah "Deb" Jones and Howard Ackers.
