Velma Matthews Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2023, at the age of 91, Velma Matthews of Winston Salem, North Carolina, born in Stokes, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Lindsey and Artie Amos Mabe; and her sister Vivian Mabe Stowe. She is survived by: her husband Virgil William Matthews; and her sisters-in-law, Bessie Matthews and Betty Matthews. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many many friends.
