It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie Yvette Edwards Moore of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on October 31, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hester Edwards, Sr. and Lois Burton Edwards; and her granddaughter Miracle Ashworth. She is survived by: her daughters, Yahna Edwards Perry (Jonn) of Raleigh, NC and Melia Jordan Ashworth (Tory) of Winston-Salem, NC; her grandsons, Maleke and Micah Perry of Raleigh, NC; her siblings, Phyllis Booker, Linda Chisom (Carlton), Vernon Spurgeon of Winston-Salem, NC and Robert Hester Edwards, Jr. (Dorsel) of Winston-Salem, NC; and her aunt Delores Edwards. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
