He was predeceased by: his parents, Hezekiah Shuler and Lurline Shuler; and his brothers, Johnnie, Claude and Laverne.
He is survived by: his wife Albertinnia Arnette Shuler; his daughter Teaquoise Lindsay (Greg); his grandchildren, Bria Lindsay and Brandon Lindsay; his brother Bennie Shuler; his godson Min; his siblings-in-law, Ella Shuler, Elaine Jackson, Norvell Arnette (Linda) and James Arnette (Paulette); his nieces and nephews, Laverne Shuler, Jr., Tywarren Jackson (LaQuita) of Huntsville, AL, Bobby Jackson, Jr., Chastity Donathan (Christopher), Samantha Shuler (Nautica), Shavone Hines (Markiss), Adrienne Thompson-Toney (Eric) of Baltimore, MD, Tonya Arnette, Tomeka Jackson-Hooper, Rhonda Thornton (David), LaQueeta Roseboro (Dedrick), Chantale Hawkins and Yolanda Boston (Rodney); and his close friend Johnny Moses.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Russell Funeral Home (822 Carl Russell Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Waughtown Baptist Church (838 Moravia St, Winston-Salem, NC 27107). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
