He is survived by: his wife Sandra Laverne Evans (Retired Colonel); and his grandchildren, Amire Brooke Perry of Raleigh, NC, Cameron Alexander Christopher Goins, De'Ongelous Dewayne Goins and Lily Brooke Goins of Clayton, NC.. He is also survived by several cousins, friends, special friends, and classmates.
