It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Wayne Scott Sr. (Winston Salem, North Carolina), born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on June 15, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Clay Scott and Helen Teasley Scott; his wife Lynette Jones Scott; his son Wayne Scott Jr. (Ann) of Charleston, S. C.; his stepson Scott Reece (Renee) of Mebane; and his sister-in-law Susan J. McCurry (Gene) of Thomasville. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
