She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Alexander Smith and Sophia Elizabeth Sofley Smith; her husband Jerry Wade Snyder; and her siblings, Sarah Mendenhall Hiatt, Nancy Kiser, Joan Fine, Lola Grey Kirby, Thelma Tuttle Kennedy, Wiley Alexander Smith Jr., Reynolds Lybrook Smith, Harry Smith and Tommy Hulin Smith.

She is survived by: her sons, Dale Snyder (Sherry) and Craig Snyder (JoAnn); her grandchildren, Danielle Whittington, Emily Snyder and Travis Stack (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Hallie Whittington and Emma Stack; her niece Susan Medley; and her caregiver Janice Robertson.
