The memory of Sue Berrier Weaver of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on March 31, 2025 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshell C Berrier and Beulah Byerly Berrier; her daughter Denisa Faye; her husband Archie E Weaver; her son Steven Weaver; and her siblings, Robert Berrier, Patsy Louya (Johnny) and Edna Hester (Ernest).
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Joyner and Susan Bassett (Ricky); her daughter-in-law Sarah Weaver; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Louya, Rachel Lee, Kristin Birchette, Meghan Tripken, Ashley Solan and Matthew Joyner. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel (858 Hickory Tree Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27127). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Trellis Supportive Care 101 Hospice Ln, Winston-Salem, NC 2710.
