He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ray Motsinger and Lucille Baker Motsinger. He is survived by: his children, Joel James Motsinger of New Hampshire and Jamie Motsinger Payne (Trey) of Winston-Salem; his brother Eddie Ray Motsinger of Winston-Salem; and his grandson Gabriel James Payne. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. C. Green Funeral Home (10301 NC-109, Winston-Salem, NC 27107). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Wallburg Baptist Church (5341 Wallburg Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27107).
