It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Swicegood (Winston Salem, North Carolina), born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wood and Pearl Moore Wood; her son Danny Motsinger; and her husband Vilas Swicegood. She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Motsinger of Winston-Salem, Michael Motsinger (Janna) of Stonewall and Douglas Motsinger (Susan) of Winston-Salem; her grandchildren, Tyler Motsinger, Bridget Motsinger, Amanda Brinkle and Anthony Skambato; her niece Paige Flinchum; and her nephew J. W. Motsinger.
