She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Tate; her parents, Clarence Beckham and Bessie Sims; and her son Timmy Dalton. She is survived by: her sons, Tony Dalton (Cindi) and Todd Dalton (Lisa); her granddaughters, Jaime O'Neal (Scott), Jennifer Watson, Hannah Robins (Daniel) and Tamara Dalton; and her brother Tommy Sims (Bev). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Robinhood Road Baptist Church (5422 Robinhood Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106).
