It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shaqueira Carson (Winston Salem, North Carolina), who passed away on June 8, 2023, at the age of 29, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sister Quashawn "Tunka" Carson. She is survived by: her parents, Tomecka Rapley (Shavon Revel, Sr.) and Calvin Carson, Jr.; her children, Malonia Vargas and Mario Bouyer; her grandparents, Robin Dobson (Robert), Thomas Rapley, Deborah McCollum (Christopher Lewis) and Calvin Carson, Sr.; her great-grandparent Kay Mack Williams; her siblings, Shaniqua Johnson, Shamiah Revel, Iamoni McClellan, Shahlil Wilson, Shaheim Revel, Shavon Revel, Jr., Shamar Revel, Demario Johnson, Calvin Johnson and Travis Cuthbertson, Jr.; her aunts and uncles, Tjwana Williams (Michael), Dennatta Miller, Jamie McIntyre, Tangela Carson, LaShonda Carson, Antonio Humphrey, Reginald Dubose (Love), Quentin Rutland, Terry Carson, Carl Revel, Bernard Revel and Cortez McIntyre; her godmother Nicole Hairston; and her close friend Michelle McDuffie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
