He is survived by: his mother Tonya Lynette Bennett (James); his sons, Jai Lamar and Jace Lamir; his fiancé Nijah Yvette Downing; his grandparents, LeeArlis Archie (Richard), Vernon A. Jones and Toni Fair (Derrick); his aunts and uncles, Sheria K. Chambers, Angelique Woods, Bobby Chambers (Kendra), Ricardo Howell, Jerod and Rasheed; his great-uncles and great-aunts, Sarah Bridges, Loretta, Wilhemina, Margaret, Michelle, McArthur, Ronald (Sylvia), Carlton, Selwyn and Kenny; his siblings, Jaboree, Shon, Jeremy, Trey, Kierra and James Black Jr.; and his godmother Juanita Coles.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Hooper Funeral Home (1415 14th St NE, Winston-Salem, NC 27105).
