She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Thomas and Mae Thomas Lykins; her husband Tom D. Coppedge Jr.; and her sister Pat Turner. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Bremer (Ron) of Raleigh, NC, Cindy Smith (Chris) of Kernersville, NC, Amy Dixon (Erik) of Raleigh, NC and Tom Coppedge III (Kimberly) of Raleigh, NC; her grandchildren, Jenny Garcia, Drew Bremer, Lesli Moss, Hannah Wuttke, Justin Dixon, Kaitlyn Strickland and Tom Coppedge IV; and her siblings, Nancy Moore of Hendersonville, NC, Linda Sigmon (Mack) of Newton, NC and Jack Thomas of Winston-Salem, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
