He is survived by: his wife Rosa Smith Hynes; his children, Samuel Hynes (Barbara), Sammie David Hynes and Sherron Campbell; his siblings, Lillie Mae Jones and Harold Hynes (Patricia); his brother-in-law Hessie Smith; his grandchildren, Michael Coleman (Derdia), Dr. Gemekia Futrell (Darrin), Ricky Coleman, Ronald Campbell (Jennae), Jessica Hynes and Samantha Hynes of Oakland, CA; and his great grandchildren, Christian Parker, Chrissy Parker, Michael J. Coleman and Samoria Hynes of Oakland, CA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
