She is survived by: her children, Dr. Paul Hudson Gulley (Anne) of Elkin, NC, Dr. Lawrence Rucker Gulley (Sharon) of Clark, CO, Sheila Gulley Pleasants (Craig) of Amherst, VA, Marcia Gulley Gutekanst (Joseph) of Mooresville, NC, John Marcus Gulley (Elizabeth) of Greensboro, NC and Edward Whittington Gulley (Ned) of Watertown, MA; her grandson Dr. Mark Hellreich of Asheville, NC.; her daughter-in-law Wendy James Gulley; her grandchildren, Sarah Gulley Neas (Josh), Benjamin Lawrence Gulley (Taleisha Bowen), William Marcus Gulley (Riley Newcastle), Julia Roses Pleasants (Dan Deceder), Dr. Eleanor Rankin Pleasants (Daniel Hyatt), Margaret Alexander Pleasants (Jennie Latane), Megan Inez Joyner (Jackson), Graham Edward Gutekanst, Grace Hudson Gutekanst, Cecelia Gulley Massimilla (Sam), Marcus Anderson Gulley, Jay William Gulley, Sam Lewis Gulley and George Gregory O'Donnell (Lauren); and her great grandchildren, Beatrice Fern Neas, James Hudson Neas, Allegra Valentine Bowen Gulley, Lucia Therese Bowen Gulley, Ruth Hudson Joyner, Louisa Wren Joyner, Frederick Oliver Joyner, Milo Moon Pleasants Deceder, Kennan Lowry O'Donnell and Sean Mahoney O'Donnell.
