With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Jean Brandquist of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Leidorf and Ellen Leidorf; her brother Curtis Leidorf; and her husband Robert Carl Brandquist. She is survived by: her children, Roland, Richard (Lisa) of Kernersville and Robin Richardson (George) of Bartonville, Illinois.; her grandchildren, Dustin Brandquist, Brittany Bennett (Jim) and Kaylee Richardson; her brother Paul Leidorf (Yvonne) of Port Clinton, OH.; her stepgrandchildren, Robert Blake Hunt, Brandi Hopkins and Brandon Padfield; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Aiden Hopkins, Ailana Hopkins and Arabella Hopkins.
