With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Nicholson Easter (Winston Salem, North Carolina), who passed away on June 16, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Lee Nicholson and Allie Longworth Nicholson; her sister Helen Childress; and her husband John Grady Easter. She is survived by: her sons, Barry (Nan) and Kim (Vickie); her grandsons, Jake (Amy), Chad (Jenny) and Jesse Easter; her great grandchildren, Collin and Vivian; and her siblings, Eddie Nicholson (Jewel), Peggy Thomas and Glenda Elles (David). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to New Hope United Methodist Church, 5125 Shattalon Dr, Winston-Salem, NC 27106.
