She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Carl Flowers and Ellen Clarinda Cloninger Flowers; her husband Floyd Nelson Hughes; and her siblings, Edna Flowers Carter (Ches), Mamie Lee Flowers, Lillie Flowers, Nell Flowers Rachael (Harold), Carl J. Flowers (Maxine Ward) and W. Jack Flowers (Doris Haltom).
She is survived by: her children, Jill Hughes Lethig (Burnie) of Thomasville, Kelly Hughes McGehee (Mike Ratliff) of Thomasville, Wendy Elliott (Mark) of Nashville, TN and Darrell Floyd Hughes (Roxann) of Orlando, FL; her grandchildren, Amanda Foster Bowman (Michael), Thomas J. McGehee (Heather), Ashley Foster Parton (Brian) and Brandon M. Henson (Ashlyn); and her great grandchildren, Kendall Bowman, Matthew Bowman, Landon McGehee, Kamryn Bowman, Jordan McGehee, Brooke Henson and George Parton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
