She is survived by: her son Steven Arthur Tablas of Winston-Salem; her siblings, Penny (Joe Fritts), Louise (Stonie Dunbar), Marie Booker of Mount Airy and Carl; her sister-in-law Linda Tolbert of Mount Airy; her niece Amy Patella; her close friend Martha "Mutt" Dentiste of Winston-Salem; and her friend Joe Gamble.
